My tale begins with two fussy infants and the desperation of early motherhood. My one salvation was an obsession with foraging for unique and unusual finds in fashion and beyond and cleverly hiding them from my husband! I've since added a third child, 4 four legged friends, and numerous other living creatures. I've endured the loss of a parent, the passing of several pets, unemployment and various other life altering experiences all while balancing a husband, kids, animals, meals, home, laundry and career. Needless to say, life is crazy!

Somewhere along the way I began to lose track of who I was. Before my inspiration vanished, along with my bank account, I came up with the idea of BE YOU! The cornerstone of my philosophy being, Great Women: May we be them, know them, and raise them. With that in mind, the men will follow!

The BE YOU line is inspired by vintage apparel with a message that is intended to make YOU feel extraordinary. I seek "out of the box" designs that will inspire you to BE everything YOU are meant to BE! Since 2006, my collections have evolved beyond just belts and t-shirts to include one-of-a-kind jean jackets, inspired jewelry, a line called "Wise Women's Words" and more. With my expansion has come the new name of KarmicSource, "The Good Karma Company". I feel it more completely conveys my philosophy about how the universe's energy connects all of us. If you wear your mantra expect that you will attract the same back from the universe!

I honor of all the loved one that have gone before me and friends who are confronting difficult health and family issues, I proudly donate a portion of my proceeds to the following charitable organizations: Susan G. Koeman Breast Cancer Foundation, The American Diabetes Association, 65 Roses to Benefit Cystic Fibrosis and several local groups that empower women and their children to be the best that they can be!
